Spell Chain (Flow) chains several image tools — resize, rotate, flip, grayscale, convert, compress — into one pipeline that runs in a single pass. Spell Chain — chain image tools into one pipeline

Most image tools do exactly one thing, which turns a real edit into a chore: resize, save, re-upload, compress, save again, rotate, save again. Spell Chain collapses that into a single pipeline. You build an ordered chain of operations once, then run every image you have through all of them in one pass.

Building a chain

Add steps from the palette: Resize, Rotate, Flip, Grayscale, Convert (PNG/JPG/WebP), Compress, and a few more. The palette is context-aware — it only offers steps that can accept the current output. Once a step produces a JPG, for instance, later steps that can't take that input aren't shown, so you can't accidentally build a chain that won't run.

Each step exposes only its own settings, inline:

Resize — target width and height in pixels.
Rotate — 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
Convert — the output format, plus a quality slider (10–100%) for JPG and WebP.
Compress — a target file size of 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, or 1 MB.
Text overlay, Remove white background, and others carry the same controls as their standalone tools.

Drag any step to reorder it; the numbered badges renumber and the chain always runs top to bottom. Order matters — rotating before compressing gives a different result than compressing first — so the drag handle is the main lever you'll tune.

Running it on a batch

Privacy and how it works

Every step runs locally using the same engine as Spellkit's individual image tools, in order, on your device. Your images are never uploaded at any point in the pipeline, and saved flows live only in your browser's storage — clearing site data removes them. Because processing is on-device, a long chain over many large photos leans on your own CPU and memory rather than a server, so very big batches take a moment.
